The laughing massage

For being Shanes first time in Africa (well except Egypt but I barely count that) I think he likes it so far. Both yesterday and today we have still just been chilling around the hotel and resting. I think we both really needed this and we have been in the mood for doing absolutely NOTHING both of us! At least I’ve been out for 2 short runs and 1 beach workout, otherwise I think I just turn in to an annoying girlfriend so that’s for both our safety and pleasure!

We felt adventurous and went to another beach restaurant for dinner instead of our hotel one and I said I will pay for it, embarrassing enough, tired head and new to the currency here, I didn’t even payed half of it so our waitress came running after us on the beach! Oh god, I wanted to sink through that sand and I think Shane thought “well that’s the last time

she is paying for dinner” haha!

Well I tried… that’s something!

Yesterday we also had an hilarious massage from two locals. Beautiful setting on the beach in the sunset hour but next to a shopping stand and one of their daughters wouldn’t leave my side as she wanted to help massaging and got very upset when mommy didn’t give her oil. Not the usual setting but an experience and still really good massage - and only 5€ each (even though we payed double because we wanted to and you should have seen their faces when they saw they got to keep it all!) Warmed my heart!

We’ve enjoyed a beautiful sunset today and tomorrow we booked ourselves in for a private boat to an island I had on top of my list coming here - Nosy Iranja! Can’t wait - just hoping the weather will be on our side.
